(B) Invest in high-growth technology companies in impactful sectors (fin-tech, ed-tech, agri-tech, health-tech, etc) in emerging markets and support them with capital, knowledge and introductions.

About the Job

As a Sourcing Intern, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential startups for entrepreneurship programs. You will work closely with our team to support the application process, conduct due diligence and background research, and assist in the selection and evaluation of startups. Additionally, you will help in the management and tracking of the progress of startups throughout the program, as well as in organizing and coordinating events and workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential startups for our entrepreneurship programs
  • Evaluate the qualifications and fit of startups for various programs
  • Support the application process for startups to join these programs
  • Help in conducting due diligence and background research on startups
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of startups for the programs
  • Support the coordination and communication with the founders of the selected startups
  • Help in the management and tracking of the progress of startups throughout the program
  • Assist in the organization and coordination of events and workshops for startups
  • Support the development and maintenance of a startup database
  • Help in identifying and implementing opportunities for startups to connect with potential investors and partners
  • Support in the development of a technological AI product thought for investors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or MSc in business, finance, entrepreneurship, or a related field
  • Strong interest in the startup ecosystem, technology and entrepreneurship
  • Excellent research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work part-time, ideally 20 hours per week
