Full Stack Development Program - Seedstars Academy

Seedstars is an international organization that supports tech startups and entrepreneurs in emerging markets. We have recently launched a Full Stack Development upskilling program in India, aimed at nurturing top talent and equipping them with the skills required for the 21st century. As a Seedstars Academy Talent, you will have the opportunity to join this program and subsequently contribute to the growth and success of a Seedstars Portfolio company.

This Full Stack Development program focuses on front-end and back-end development, as well as strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms. The program is entirely project-based, meaning learners develop a strong technical portfolio as well as desired hard and soft skills required for full stack developer jobs in industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Upskilling Program: Participate in a comprehensive two-month upskilling program starting in September, focused on developing both technical and 21st century skills. This program will provide you with the necessary knowledge and tools to excel in the tech industry.

2. Team Integration: Upon completion of the upskilling program, integrate into a Seedstars Portfolio company's team on a part-time basis for a period of four months, starting from November. During this time, you will work closely with the team, contribute to projects, and gain valuable hands-on experience.

3. Skill Assessment: Showcase your capabilities, problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and innovation mindset during the four-month part-time integration period. This will allow the Seedstars Portfolio company to evaluate your performance and suitability for potential long-term employment.

4. Employment Opportunity: If you meet the expectations of the Seedstars Portfolio company during the integration period, you may be offered a one-year assignment starting from March. This assignment can lead to a permanent full-time position based on mutual agreement and performance evaluation.

Requirements:

1. Passion for Technology: Demonstrated interest in the tech industry, with a strong desire to learn and grow within this field.

2. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming concepts and familiarity with at least one programming language. Prior experience in web development, mobile app development, data analysis, or any other tech-related field is a plus.

3. 21st Century Skills: Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and adapt to new challenges. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

4. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Equivalent practical experience or ongoing education in the tech field will also be considered.

5. Mindset: Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and a growth mindset are highly valued. We are seeking individuals who are eager to learn, embrace new opportunities, and contribute to the success of Seedstars Portfolio companies.

6. Availability: Commitment to participate in the two-month upskilling program starting in September, as well as the subsequent part-time integration period of four months starting from November.
