The opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee (field) data acquisition and implementation of enterprise software solutions for our clients. The candidate would be responsible for managing client experience, ensuring that value is derived from BPS’ services.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional leadership and management skills, with a focus on achieving operational excellence. He/she must also be a self-starter, able to work independently, solving abstract problems. Prior experience implementing technology solutions is essential. Experience in the power industry would be ideal.

Key responsibilities

  • Structuring and managing all operating activities to ensure projects are consistently implemented to
    the highest standards.
  • Ensuring quality and consistency of delivery (standardizing internal and external processes
    pertaining to implementation of our services/solutions)
  • Delivering exceptional client experience – includes tracking and measuring tangible benefits of our
    services and reporting such both internally and to client
  • Driving process change internally and with clients to ensure sustained value
  • Providing insights to enhance our product development efforts
  • Identifying revenue opportunities – through additional product or feature offerings (based on
    realized client need) or in new markets
  • Developing and growing operations team
  • Collaborating with CEO and other executives to set and drive company mission, vision, values and
    financial objectives
  • Managing administrative activities related to projects e.g. budget

Requirements

  • 5+ leading technology operations
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage processes in complex operating environments
  • Ability to drive change (internal and external – with clients)
  • Appreciation for and strong affinity with technology products
  • Experience implementing enterprise software solutions for clients a must
  • Experience managing field operations a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Utility or telecoms sector experience a plus
