Seedstars is a global investment holding with headquarters in Switzerland, 15 offices and a presence in 80+ emerging markets.We are on a mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship. The group is organised around two key activities:
(1) Working in partnership with governments, development agencies, corporate partners, and private donors to develop emerging market entrepreneurship ecosystems, create jobs and fuel economic growth.
(2) Investing in high growth technology companies in impactful sectors in emerging and frontier markets and supporting them with capital, knowledge and introductions.
About the Lab Squad
The Lab squad is a new division within Seedstars with a vision to build the largest platform for high growth companies in emerging markets to have access to knowledge, capital, and talent in a single place. The squad consists of various product teams that leverage the existing Seedstars network and resources to scale our impact exponentially. We frequently ideate, validate, and scale new products that can add value to potential high growth companies and our extended network. The team is composed of three full-stack software developers, a product analyst, a UX designer and a head of product.
About the job
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, your role will be to collaborate with the product team to build on design centric methodology and deliver flawless design. Your responsibilities will include user research, data collection and analysis, formulating and experimenting hypotheses, and prototyping. This is a remote role for applicants based in Portugal. This is a paid internship.
