Seedstars Academy is a new international school being launched in Bengaluru, the first one of its kind available for students in India. About the job

Seedstars Academy is looking for a Community Manager who will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong community of learners in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating and managing offline communities and have a strong interest in technology and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community-building strategies that foster a sense of belonging, engagement, and empowerment among Seedstars Academy students, alumni, mentors, and partners.
  • Organize and manage offline events such as meetups, workshops, networking events, hackathons, and our very own “liftoffs” that bring together Seedstars Academy community members, industry experts, and potential partners.
  • Liaise with local partners, sponsors, and industry players to expand Seedstars Academy's reach and impact in the local tech and startup ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with Seedstars Academy's marketing team to ensure the effective promotion of our community initiatives through social media, email, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and report on community engagement metrics such as attendance, feedback, and satisfaction levels, and use the insights to continually improve community-building efforts.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative community culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our ideal candidate

  • At least 2 years of experience in community management, event organization, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and build meaningful relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the local tech and startup ecosystem and a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation is a plus.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for learning and personal growth.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
