Since its inception, Seedstars has supported thousands of entrepreneurs across emerging markets through 40+ long-term capacity building programs, 350+ short-term trainings and 65+ seed stage investments in our portfolio companies across 30+ countries. To tackle our biggest bottlenecks to further impact, we are launching innovative new initiatives to train emerging market talent with the necessary 21st century skills to launch viable ventures and to scale our programs substantially through recurring revenue.

We are therefore now hiring a Talent Partnerships Lead to join our team ASAP and launch our new initiative in locations across the world. The main objective of the role is to generate recurring revenue and launch all associated activities.

The Talent Agency Lead will work very closely with the Partners and Global Incubation Team.

What we are looking for

In our selection criteria we value key skills needed to carry out a role effectively over ticking boxes for qualification, background, education level, or years of experience. This translates to:

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where things are not fully defined and can turn complexity and ambiguity into a context for success with minimal input or top-down direction provided. You are autonomous, resilient, take ownership, and innovate systematic approaches to solving challenges.
  • Track Record: You have a thorough understanding of placement agency or staff augmentation operations and business models and have honed the necessary capacities to source, secure, and nurture relationships to build strategic partnerships in the ecosystem to generate top-line growth.
  • Strong work ethic: You have a high output quotient and are predisposed to getting things done and taking action. You prioritise the most important things we should be focusing on as an organisation, and zero in on those that have the potential for the greatest impact without letting the smaller day to day tasks fall through the cracks.
  • Cross-functional team player: You are empathetic, assertive, and not driven by ego. We value people who help their colleagues and contribute to the overall well-being of Seedstars. You can work well alone but are also an amazing team player. You are a strong verbal and written communicator and can work effectively with different teams, groups, and sectors.
  • Reliable: You are trustworthy, committed and have a strong inner-drive. You are motivated by your role, team members, and the organization and as such continually strive for achievement. You take initiative and possess an unbounded intellectual curiosity. You follow through and complete tasks to meet goals.

We offer

  • A mission which is bigger than all of us: to create a positive impact in people’s lives in emerging markets
  • Many growth opportunities and responsibilities early on
  • An entrepreneurial culture where you’re surrounded by a young and diverse team
  • Autonomy, flexibility and a decentralized organizational design
  • The freedom to do your work from anywhere
  • Learnings, trainings, personal development and wellbeing stipends
